SAPPER ROBOT

Multi-agent sapper robotic systems for the protection of civil, industrial and military extended facilities and communications

Project Description

Multi-agent robotic systems for the protection of civil and industrial extended facilities are highly mobile autonomous multifunctional robotic systems capable of monitoring the terrain and/or the condition of the protected object in the mode of individual and/or collective actions.

The systems take the form of units mounted on statically balanced uniaxial chassis, controlled by intelligent decision-making systems and equipped with communication devices, video surveillance, sensor devices and navigation and positioning systems, as well as manipulators and adapters.

The systems are designed to be used both in the mode of individual application and in the mode of collective interaction within the units for the protection of facilities and communications.

The need for such systems increases with the development of the economy, transport and the general level of saturation of the spheres of life with technical systems.

The fundamental difference between our system and its analogues is the use of a statically balanced single-axle chassis, which makes it possible to create relatively cheap all-terrain, high-speed and highly maneuverable autonomous modules. It is particularly worth noting the increased survivability of such systems due to the absence of redundant connections in the structure and the absence of load concentration effects.

By now, our developments have formed the basis for the designs of multi-agent sapper robots (the Bronze Medal of the 2013 EMERCOM Innovation Exhibition) and scout robots for the Ministry of Emergency Situations (the Gold Medal of the Interpoltech 2015 exhibition), as well as multifunctional multi-agent robotic systems for MIVAR.
